Pamela D.A. Reeve, CEO
Pam was appointed by Mayor Thomas Menino to create openairboston.net and implement the vision of the Wireless Task Force. Pam was a founder and CEO of Lightbridge, Inc.(NASDAQ: LTBG), a provider of software and services to the wireless industry, and the leading internet payment gateway company. Prior to her 15 years at Lightbridge, Ms. Reeve was an executive with The Boston Consulting Group for eleven years. Earlier experience includes real estate finance and development and program manager of a national project funded by the National Endowment for the Humanities.

Pam is lead director of American Tower Corporation, a director of NMSS Communications, a trustee and former chair of the Massachusetts Technology Leadership Council; on the boards of The Commonwealth Institute, The Mass Network Communications Council and is Vice Chair of the Board of Trustees of the Massachusetts General Physicians Organization. She is on the advisory boards of Sovereign Bank and The Bentley College Graduate School. She holds an undergraduate degree from the University of Georgia and a masters in business administration, with honors, from Harvard Business School.

Susan Hammond, CFO
Susan is the founder and principal of CFO Strategies, strategic advisors to CEOs and boards of small profit and non-profit organizations. She has over 20 years of executive experience in strategic planning, operations, and finance. She is a co-founder of the South Shore Women's Business Network and the Center for Women & Enterprise. As a consultant she has advised numerous start-up businesses, serving as CFO for Amber Wave Systems, Aptis Communications, Omnia Communications and Revit Technology, among others, and nonprofit organizations. Her expertise extends over a wide range of industries.

Susan is vice chair of the board of the Arts & Business Council of Greater Boston and a consultant through Business Volunteers for the Arts. She served as the Chair of the Duxbury Council on Aging during the building of the town’s first free-standing senior center. Susan received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting from Northeastern University and a Master of Science in Taxation from Bentley College. She is a CPA.

James Daniell, Cabinet Leader
Jim is a Partner of Echelon Ventures, an early stage technology venture firm. He has served on numerous boards of both private and public companies, has raised over $100m for his own companies, as well as managed M&A and investment transactions totaling over $1B. Prior to joining Echelon Ventures, Jim Daniell was interim President of and an investor in Integrated Fuel Cell Technologies. Prior experience includes President and CEO of Celarix and OrderTrust. Prior to that Jim served as chief operating officer of AT&T's Network Commerce Services, where he oversaw the company's Web-hosting, Web-connectivity, e-commerce, call center solutions and managed connectivity solutions divisions. While at AT&T, Jim also led the firm’s business development team that did many deals around the globe and he led the strategic $150M LP investment in AT&T Ventures II.

Jim is a board member of GateRocket and of TimeTrade Systems, a Trustee and the Treasurer of the Massachusetts Technology Leadership Council, and an Overseer of the Boston Museum of Science. Jim is a graduate of Carnegie Mellon University, where he earned a doctorate in electrical and computer engineering, and of the University of Connecticut, where he earned a joint bachelor's and master's degree in computer science and engineering.

David Epstein, RFI/RFP, operations, fundraising
David is President and CEO of PTel. David has over twelve years experience in successfully running and operating Internet access and telecommunications companies, managing over one million subscribers in the dial-up and dedicated ISP, cable modem, cellular re-sale, paging, local and long distance, DSL, Wi-Fi, and VoIP space. He founded Internet Service Provider, JavaNet, which was acquired by RCN in 1998. As President of RCN’s Internet Division, David was responsible for all aspects of its Internet business including product development and support, as well as the integration of six ISPs totaling 350,000 customers. He then grew this base by 43% in a little over a year to more than 500,000 customers. He also oversaw the steady migration of existing dial-up customers to RCN’s high-speed access provided over RCN’s state-of-the-art fiber optic network.

In 2000, David was named CEO of Connecticut Telephone, which he transitioned from a pure re-seller of telecommunications services, to a facilities based broadband CLEC based in Hartford, CT. Most recently, David served as President of BroadVoice, a VoIP service provider he founded in 2003. He attended Simon’s Rock College of Bard.

John C. Petrillo, innovation process, market segmentation, fundraising
John C. Petrillo has played a leading role in the telecommunication industry for more than 30 years. As Executive Vice President at AT&T, John supervised the launch of new telecommunication products and services and was lead negotiator on many critical global and domestic telecom business relationships. He also held many significant operating positions and led strategic initiatives including the development of business strategies in the telephone services, cable and Internet industries.

John’s educational credits include a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute and a legal degree from Brooklyn Law School.

Stephen Pearse, RFI/RFP, Wireless Innovation Center
A proven leader in the IT and Telecom space for over 29 years, Steve is a principal at Yucatan Rock and Common Angels. Stephen was CEO of Cyras Systems which was sold to Ciena Corporation for $2.7B. Before starting his entrepreneurial career, Stephen was EVP and General Manager of Bay Networks' (now Nortel) Internet/Telecom Business Group, where he also managed the merger between Bay Networks and Nortel Networks. Previously, Stephen served as Senior Vice President of Engineering, Operations and IT at Time Warner Telecom, and Vice President of Technology at Sprint. Steve sits on the boards of C4RJ, Sereniti, Inc. and Emerson Hospital. Steve holds an MBA from MIT Sloan School, an MSEE from Stevens Institute of Technology, and a BSME from Georgia Tech. He is a private pilot, Master SCUBA diver, mountain climber and technology enthusiast.

Michael Tattersall, Network Design Modeling
Michael Tattersall is the Founder and CEO of Stratsoft LLC a firm that specializes in geo-economic analysis, particularly for communications infrastructure initiatives. Stratsoft is a management consultancy that develops data-driven systems and tools for planning and decision-support. It has worked extensively within all forms of wireless communications as well as wireline, satellite and terrestrial broadcast, and cable television.

Michael started as a Merchant Banker in London before co-founding a technology consultancy in the UK, then becoming Managing Director of a boutique management consultancy in the US before then founding Stratsoft. He is British and makes his home with his wife and two children outside Boston, MA.

Nicholas Vanzelfde, pilot project management
Nicholas is the founder of Communications Media Advisors, Inc. Prior to forming the company, Nick was a Director at Altman Vilandrie & Company. He was the company’s first employee and is the head of AV&Co’s wireless practice. His clients include major national operators, rural ILECs and wireless providers, and financial investors. As part of AV&Co, Nick has completed over 30 engagements in the wireless broadband space and is also an expert in legal and regulatory, broadband deployment, and consumer marketing. He has led nearly 150 consulting projects for telecommunications and high tech clients, including municipalities, service providers, equipment and software vendors, and investors. Prior to AV&Co, Nick was with CSMG, a telecom strategy consulting firm from 1999 to 2002.

Nick holds a BS in Chemical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and is a CFA charterholder. While at MIT, Nick was captain of both Varsity Swimming and Varsity Water Polo teams, and was an Academic All-American. In addition, Nick is on the board of directors of the MS2 program at Phillips Academy in Andover, MA.

Brian Worobey, community, non-profit and university relations
Brian is Vice President and CIO of the Museum of Science, responsible for the creation and implementation of Museum-wide information systems strategy. The Information Systems and Resources division is responsible for web and new media activities; MIS/Technology Services; Museum library/educator resource center; as well as, exhibit hall operations. Since he started at the Museum of Science in 1996, Worobey has been instrumental in creating strategic partnerships with leading technology companies. He continues to provide strategy and raise support for the Museum’s technological and educational initiatives -- with a present focus on online learning, wireless applications and customer relationship management. Prior to the Museum, Brian was the Director of MBA Technology Services at Harvard Business School and Assistant Director for Network Services at Boston College.

Brian graduated from Clark University in 1984 with a B.A. in Management. He is involved with the Massachusetts Interactive Media Council, Massachusetts Technology Leadership Council, and frequently serves as an advisor for companies on the strategic use of technology in business. In addition, he is a performing musician, and musical composer.

Timothy Schneider, research and team support
Tim is currently a second year student at New York University School of Law, where he co-founded InfoLaw, a student group focused on the intersection between information technology and law. Tim graduated magna cum laude from Harvard College in 2003, with an honors thesis on the impact of early radio regulation on the the experience of radio in rural areas. While at Harvard he served as Vice President of Phillips Brooks House Association, in addition to working with student-run summer camps and after school programs in Mission Hill and Cambridge. Tim.s work experience includes serving as a legal intern at Public Knowledge and a communications intern at Media Access Project, both in Washington, D.C., and site coordinator for the EdGE program, an afterschool program in Washington County, Maine.
